Swine flu infections reaching alarming proportions in India
About a couple of months back, the swine flu virus was unheard of in India. At least the hoi polloi had no idea about what the influenza A (H1N1) was and how lethal it could be.Thereafter, sporadic cases of laboratory confirmed infections were reported, primarily from Hyderabad and few from Delhi as well.
